Working Hard!

Hello! This week at Crystalline, we've been working hard on our upcoming piece, putting the final touches to the story and working on our first draft of the script, so hopefully soon you'll start seeing some behind the scenes!

We don't want to give too much away yet, but currently the story is going to be focussing on diversity and loneliness. With everything thats happening in the world currently, we should all be looking to learn more about different cultures, appreciating and accepting what we discover. Within Crystalline Theatre, we all have very different backgrounds, and we wanted to explore this through our work and share our cultures with you too!

Sometimes it might feel as though you are alone even when you are in a room (or group chat) full of people. Especially now-a-days, it can be hard to feel connected. We've felt like that too, so we want to ensure that everyone knows that they have a support system available, whether it be friends, family, parents, or your teachers. If this seems too daunting, you can also contact Childline (in the UK) through their website: https://www.childline.org.uk/ Childline is a free and confidential advice service, where you can speak to someone about any problems you might be having, big or small. They also have activities to get involved with, such as games, art, and exercises to help you feel calm, so be sure to check them out!

Lastly, we just wanted to share a song with you. Written by the wonderful Tom Rosenthal, the song 'Hope' was released on April 24th as a way of bringing together people from all over the world who had been affected by the current crisis. It features clips of people of all ages and backgrounds, spreading the message of hope, and reminding us that we are not alone in this time. We love the message that this song has, and we hope you enjoy it too!
